Global Warming Update!

Canada frosts the most widespread in recent memory

In Manitoba, the frost is the worst in memory for its frequency and area covered, said Derwyn Hammond, the province’s senior agronomy specialist for the Canola Council.

“Certainly (it’s) the worst year I’ve seen,” said Hammond, who has worked for the Canola Council for 15 years.

Brazil May Cut Corn Output Forecast More on Frost

June 8 (Bloomberg) — Brazil may cut this year’s corn output forecast for a third consecutive time in July as a frost in Center South states damaged the beans following a drought, an Agriculture Ministry official said.

It’s June…so it must be snowing: Great British summer goes from sweltering to shivering in just a week

Five days ago we were flocking to the beach, queueing for ice-creams and slathering on the sunscreen.

Yesterday, we were shivering in summer’s first dusting of snow. Yes, snow.

After the hottest spell of the year so far, sleet and snow swept in across northern parts of Britain while the rest of the country also cooled down considerably.

Yesterday, amateur weather watchers in Brampton, Cumbria, were astonished at the unseasonal snow.

‘The cloud is beginning to clear over the Pennines and from Penrith lying snow is clearly visible on Cross Fell above about 2,300 feet,’ said Adam Woodcock.

‘This is very late in the season for snow even on Cross Fell. For it to fall and lie in the early afternoon in June is remarkable.

Snow falls in western ND, in June

Bismarck, N.D. (AP) Snow has fallen in Dickinson in June, the first time in nearly 60 years the city has seen snow past May.

Twin Cities goes through historic cool snap

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) – The Twin Cities are wrapping up a summer cold snap that hasn’t been matched since 1951.

The State Climatology Office says the temperatures in St. Paul and Minneapolis stayed below 60 for three straight days. That hasn’t happened in June since June 1-3, 1951.

Saturday’s high temp in Green Bay sets record for June 6

If it seemed cold to you in Green Bay on Saturday, it was. The high temperature for the day, reached at 9:50 a.m., was 52. That set a record for the lowest high temperature for June 6, according to the National Weather Service office in Ashwaubenon.
The old mark was 53, set in 1943.

Similar records were set across Wisconsin today. Manitowoc’s high was 54, breaking the record of 56 set in 1935. In central Wisconsin, records were set in Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Marshfield and Merrill, all breaking marks set in 1935.

Better get used to it. There are showers and thunderstorms in the forecast for Green Bay through Monday night, with highs of 55 on Sunday and 59 on Monday. Things look better for Tuesday, when it’s expected to be partly sunny and 66.

So far, June’s chill is one for the records

The cloudy, chilly and rainy open to June here has been the talk of the town. So far this June is running more than 12 degrees cooler than last year, and the clouds, rain and chilly lake winds have been persistent. The average temperature at O’Hare International Airport through Friday has been only 59.5 degrees: nearly 7 degrees below normal and the coldest since records there began 50 years ago.

IPCC Admits they Could be Wrong about Humans Causing Global Warming by Dr Roy Spencer, Ph.D

If that headline surprises you, then it is a good indication of how successful the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has been in their 20-year long effort to pin the rap for global warming on humanity. I’m not reporting anything really new here. I’m just stating what is logically consistent with, and a necessary inference from, one of the most recognizable claims contained in the Summary for Policymakers in the IPCC’s 2007 report:

“Most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations.”

They assign a probablility of 90% to the term “very likely”. This is a curious use of statistical probability since warming over the last 50 years is either mostly due to anthropogenic emissions, or it isn’t. Probabilities do not apply to past events like this.
[...]
But I digress. My main point here is that the IPCC is admitting that they might be wrong. That doesn’t sound to me like “the science is settled”, as Al Gore is fond of saying. If it is “very likely” that “most” of the observed warming was due to mankind, then they are admitting that it is possible that the warming was mostly natural, instead.

SideBear: The Greatest Scam in History, Man-Made Global Warming is falling apart at the seams.

But yet our useless idiots in Washington continue to push the ‘Cap and Trade’ agenda and other onerous taxes upon our economy at a time when our economy is recession to push an agenda to control the people at the expense of the welfare of the nation.

This in itself is a sad commentary about our elected officials and speaks volumes why they should all be shown the exit door and run out of town.

And as far as Mr. “Inconvenient Truth” (Al Gore) goes, the “science is not settled” because there never was any science associated with the scam, it was all about enriching yourself at the expense of misery and poverty for billions of people around the world.

It is hard for me to comprehend the greed and lust for power that these people have and the total disdain they show for the welfare of average people. Can they really be this callous?

It is all about them and the Hell with everyone else!
