Update: On Obama Citizenship Status

The lawsuits are flying fast and furious and on Friday (12/5) the United States Supreme Court will hold a “Rule of Four” conference. This means that if 4 of the 9 Justices respond in the affirmative to Donofrio’s case, we are instantly and potentially in unchartered waters (assuming they either agree to a stay of the Electoral College or agree to hold a hearing).
We will have to wait until Friday decision to see how this progresses and for those who are interested follow the links below for more information.
SideBear: What I find of interest in all of this is…
(1) The Obama camp has failed to respond to these lawsuits, so one has to ask the question why. I can only speculate on this but I assume that any response that claims he is a natural born citizen and meets the requirements of the Constitution would require documented proof.
(2) For the Obama camp to let this drag on to this point only adds gasoline to the fire because all they would have to do is produce a Birth Certificate and this all goes away immediately.
(3) Should the Electoral College confirm Obama’s election and he takes office on Jan 20th and it is later found out that his election was illegal everything is up for grabs. Any actions taken by an illegal President could be deemed illegal and subject to reversal and/or dissolution.
Talk about unchartered waters, it would be a Constitutional Crisis.
(4) All of this could have been averted (and how many times I have said that about many different subjects) if government would have done its job.
We have a Federal Election Commission that failed to verify Obama’s eligibility. We have Sec. of States (50) that allowed Obama’s name to be placed on the ballot without verifying his eligibility. These people should all be held accountable for letting this go this far.
