In a scene reminiscent of Munich in the 1930s, our Fuhrer-in-waiting, Obama, roared:

“We can’t drive our SUVs, and eat as much as we want, and keep our homes at 72 all the time, and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK.
-
That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen!”
Sure there’s the soaring idiocy, and stunning arrogance of the remarks; but an America represented by the assembled mob of 70,000 nouveau, “brown shirts” roared their approval for this Obama plan to legitimatize the totalitarianism of the Left. And in tomorrow’s Oregon primary, likely in overwhelming numbers, they will confirm their enthusiasm both for Obama’s swaggering demagoguery, and for the losses of freedom, that it promises.
