I sure most of you by now heard about Barack Obama’s gaffe last week in San Francisco but I think it is much more than a gaffe because it shows a certain weakness in the man’s character as a candidate.
Here is what Obama said:
“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them,” Obama said. “And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
His comments have a certain snobbish condescending tone to them and given that they were made to an elitists San Francisco audience it shows the man for whom he is.
When the cameras are off Obama has shun taken pictures with people and has refused to answers questions, he is not the man who he portrays to be.
Once he gets past his standard campaign rhetoric of “Hope and Change” and he has to speak from experience with knowledge he begins to stumble and his polished oratory skills diminish.
How he described ‘Small Town’ Pennsylvania is not only factually incorrect it shows him to be have a snobbish attitude who is out of touch with the average American.
His timing was terrible with the Pennsylvania primary only a week away and if you are going to say something that makes you sound like a clueless liberal, don’t say it in San Francisco.
Today’s unemployment in Pennsylvania, as of February 2008, was 4.9%. In February 1982, twenty-five years ago, the unemployment rate in Pennsylvania was 12.9%.
Also what was very revealing was his statement that “They cling to their religion”. This comes from a man who for 20 years sat silent in the pews, while a hate-spewing minister damned his country and most everyone else. Should not the question be, “Why does Obama still cling to the Trinity Church that seems far more extreme than anything I’ve seen in rural America?”
Probably what was the worst hypocrisy of all was Obama’s charge that these small towns in Pennsylvania express “anti-trade sentiment.” It was Barack Obama himself who tried to salvage Ohio by demagoguing NAFTA and opposing a free-trade agreement with Columbia.
The Bottom Line - So essentially what we have here is a walking paradox between Ivy-Leaguer who ‘talks down’ about middle class America’s prejudices and religious beliefs while at the same time he is courting their votes.
So is Obama a uniter? Not Hardly. If anything he is the classic liberal who promotes class warfare; his campaign has brought us Black v. White Racism and Rich v. Poor with an arrogant tone against the stupid little people who live in fly-over America.
Obama’s vision of America just isn’t true. He is clueless to how most Americans live their lives, they are productive and generally happy; hard-working and actively involved in their communities through church and their children’s schools.
Thinking back on his life , Mr. Ayers said, ”I was a child of privilege and I woke up to a world on fire. And hope and history rhymed.”
”I don’t regret setting bombs,” Bill Ayers said. ”I feel we didn’t do enough.” Mr. Ayers, who spent the 1970’s as a fugitive in the Weather Underground, was sitting in the kitchen of his big turn-of-the-19th-century stone house in the Hyde Park district of Chicago.
Mr. Ayers has always been known as a ”rich kid radical.” His father, Thomas, now 86, was chairman and chief executive officer of Commonwealth Edison of Chicago, chairman of Northwestern University and of the Chicago Symphony.
He also writes about the Weathermen’s sexual experimentation as they tried to ”smash monogamy.” The Weathermen were ”an army of lovers,” he says, and describes having had different sexual partners, including his best male friend. –William C. (“Bill”) Ayers – Weather Underground

Minnesota Man Claims He Took Drugs & Had Sex with Barack Obama in 1999
Barack Obama now faces a new challenge – one that is sure to be much more scandalous than anything he’s seen so far. If the allegations are to be believed, it’s also a scandal that his campaign has tried to cover up. A Minnesota man has come forth, claiming that he took cocaine in 1999 with Obama, the then-Illinois legislator, and participated in homosexual acts with him.
Larry Sinclair, the man making the claims, said his story was ignored by the news media. Still not willing to let this one slip quietly under the rug, Sinclair made a YouTube video in which he made his case. It’s had over half a million views already, but the story has still been largely ignored by the news media.
Larry (The Cable Guy) Sinclair Files Federal Suit against Obama
Robert Novak Hinted at Sinclair’s Allegations in October.
Larry Sinclair has filed a federal suit against Barack Obama and others for harassment since the gay man released his video on YouTube alleging that the Senator from Illinois and Sinclair shared gay sex and cocaine in the back of a limo in Gurnee, IL in 1999.
Judge Henry Kennedy, who presides over District Court in Washington, D.C., has granted Larry Sinclair’s motion for discovery and signed an order for subpoenas regarding Sinclair’s defamation lawsuit against three Internet posters.
SideBear: Larry “The Cable Guy” may be a kook or telling the truth and we shall see but given the magnitude of this year’s Presidential Election I don’t feel we should leave any stones unturned.
And with that said here is a report from our mole in D.C. land…
Who is the flaming Asian guy who drives a Honda Civic who picks BHO at odd times at the rear door (no pun intended) of the apartment building he lived in Washington?
Inquiring minds want to know…what’s up or “down low”?
Both of Barack Obama’s Parents Were Communists
There’s a big mystery at the heart of Barack Obama’s Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance. What was Barack Obama doing seeking out Marxist professors in college? Why did Obama choose a Communist Party USA member as his socio- political counselor in high school? Why was he spending his time studying neocolonialism and the writings of Frantz Fanon, the pro-violence author of “the Communist Manifesto of neocolonialsm”, in college? Why did he take time out from his studies at Columbia to attend socialist conferences at Cooper Union?
And there is more mystery in the book. Why does Obama consider working in a consulting house for international business like being “a spy behind enemy lines?” Why does he repeatedly find it so hard to explain his political views to others? Why was he driven to become a left-aligned political organizer? It’s a question Obama again and again can’t seem to answer to the satisfaction of the interlocutors in his own memoir.
If there is a mystery at the heart of Barack Obama’s Dreams From My Father, one thing is not left a mystery, the fact that Barack Obama organized his life on the ideals given to him by his Kenyan father. Obama tells us, “All of my life, I carried a single image of my father, one that I .. tried to take as my own.” (p. 220) And what was that image? It was “the father of my dreams, the man in my mother’s stories, full of high-blown ideals ..” (p. 278) What is more, Obama tells us that, “It was into my father’s image .. that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself.” And also that, “I did feel that there was something to prove .. to my father” in his efforts at political organizing. (p. 230)
So we know that his father’s ideals were a driving force in his life, but the one thing that Obama does not give us are the contents of those ideals.

Barack H. Obama’s mother Anne Durham
“Naivete” is a euphemism for Ann Dunham’s motivation. Friends describe her as a “fellow traveler”, that is, a communist sympathizer, from her youth, according to a March 27, 2007, Chicago Tribune report.
Many Americans harbor leftist views, but not many marry into them, twice. Ann Dunham met and married the Kenyan economics student Barack Obama, Sr, at the University of Hawaii in 1960, and in 1967 married the Indonesian student Lolo Soetero. …

Rev. Jeremiah Wright criticizes media at Eugene Pincham funeral
The Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., former pastor of Barack Obama’s Trinity United Church of Christ, has kept a low profile since some of his sermons landed him in the middle of a political firestorm.
But on Saturday Wright made his first extensive public remarks since the controversy began as he paid tribute to his friend, former appellate judge R. Eugene Pincham, a congregant at Trinity since 1987.
And while Wright made no mention of terrorism, he did revisit the topic of America’s mistreatment of blacks, saying America’s founding fathers “planted slavery and white supremacy in the DNA of this republic,” …

Obama tries to change the subject: I’m “out of touch?”
Hey, Barry? The objection here isn’t that you’re “out of touch” (as Trent Lott is), it’s that you’re a condescending, crypto-Marxist, elitist liberal poseur. And your what’s-the-matter-with-Kansas apologia tonight in Indiana doesn’t do a blessed thing to change that impression.
