Liberals and Libertarians: DEAD Wrong on National Security by JB Williams

Hillary Clinton was for the war on terror including in Iraq, before she had to become against it to attract her Code Pink feminazi core for a White House bid. Barack Obama says he would have been against it from the start, had he been out of his political diapers at the time those tough decisions had to be made. Both are running on ideological hindsight and campaign rhetoric.

But 300 million Americans expected President Bush alone to make certain that there would be no 2nd 9/11. He has done just that, no matter how politically uncomfortable leftists have made it for him in their quest for political power at any cost.

Libertarians like Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan are equally foolish in their isolationist blame America first and often national security rhetoric.

Since these mental midgets have such big mouths on such an important subject that they clearly know nothing about, it’s time to KISS national security, keep it simple stupid, before the American voter makes a treacherous mistake this November.

Uh, Pat Buchanan is a racist homophobe, and the only thing Ron Paul has wrong about our Middle East policy is that they attack us for our Middle East policy. And to be honest, there is some basis for that, though I believe radical Islam would get around to it anyway, since it’s their stated purpose for living. Otherwise, both are fairly right down the line with basic conservative thought. About the only official difference in the Libertarian platform and the basic conservative platform are these two things:

One, the Libertarians know the war on drugs for what it is, an attempt by the government to control the people through illegal means. The Supreme Court has struck down laws such as the Harrison Act before, and were they allowed to have a free hand now, they would strike down the Controlled Substances Act as well. Addiction is a disease, and such be treated by the medical community, not the prison system.

Two, the Libertarians believe in enforcing law, especially laws that are already on the books, and apparently nobody in the Republican party wants to.

I might also add that Libertarians believe in small government, but I shouldn’t have to, since this was, for years, a basic plank of the Republican platform as well, but now, that’s probably the third difference, if there is one.
