Death By a $5,000 Hooker

First I would like to express my sympathy for Eliot Spitzer’s wife and three daughters for the humiliation that this lowlife has trust upon them. Whatever the reasoning is, I will never understand why the wife needs to stand behind these individuals as they confess their sins.

Now as for Eliot Spitzer, he is best described as one out and out class A number one P…. (aka male organ) and it is good to see him gone from the political scene. I am not interested in the sordid details of his romper room antics and I am sure you can get the details at your local grocery store magazine rack, if you are interested.

Spitzer was a vicious man with no integrity and he abused the powers invested in him by the government offices he held. His abuse of power exceeded any known standard for prosecutors as he coerced and intimidated people on Wall Street. He was not satisfied to just bring them down, he continued on until they where totally destroyed and used their corpses as stepping stones to higher office.

Can anyone wonder why Champaign bottles are popping on Wall Street?

There is a bit in Irony in all of this because what brought him down was exactly what he prosecuted others for.

SideBear: Now I have talked a lot about inflation this week…..$5000 DOLLARS!

And by the way since the MSM has failed to mention it, Spitzer is a Democrat.

Public Trust: The only thing more disgusting than allegations of Eliot Spitzer disgracing his family, state and party by patronizing a prostitution ring is his treating the governorship of New York as a bargaining chip.

When New Yorkers elected Spitzer in 2006 with a historic 69% majority, they thought they were making a new Eliot Ness chief executive. And his hopes were said to include becoming the first Jewish president of the United States.

But now Spitzer will enter the history books as “client number 9,” as he is identified in a federal sting operation against the Emperor’s Club, a sex ring serving wealthy clients in New York, Washington, Miami, London and Paris.

Last month, before testifying to Congress on the bond industry, Spitzer apparently paid $4,300 to meet with one “Kristen” in a room registered to “George Fox,” the name of a friend and campaign contributor, at Washington’s historic Mayflower Hotel. The New York Post quoted sources saying Spitzer has been soliciting high-priced hookers for six years and possibly for over a decade.

Spitzer was barely in office when he was accused of improperly using the State Police to track the movements of his chief GOP adversary, State Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno. Spitzer was soon also under a cloud regarding a suspicious loan from his father to repay $4.3 million borrowed for his unsuccessful 1994 Democratic primary campaign for state attorney general.

With top-dollar call girls as the cherry on top of Spitzer’s other scandals, you would think Spitzer would have the few drops of decency it would take to resign immediately. Instead, like a number of other politicians in recent years, he chose to practice what can only be called a new form of spousal abuse, bringing his wife onstage at a press conference as he vaguely apologized for an unidentified “private matter.” Is he staying in office to pressure prosecutors or Republicans to cut a deal?

“And by the way since the MSM has failed to mention it, Spitzer is a Democrat.”

Our local rag in Anchorage does the same trick. Recently someone in office did something wrong and they didn’t mention which party they belonged to, but they mentioned a well-known Republican and put down his party affiliation.

So the rule of thumb is- If someone in office does something wrong and their party isn’t mentioned, then they are a Democrat.
