The Absurd Report

There simply is no hope for the man. As far as I am concerned you can put a fork in his Presidential ambitions because John McCain is cooked.

What really galled me was watching McCain’s photo-ops with Ted Kennedy and if that wasn�t disgusting enough, it was the pride with which he unveiled this stinking bill made me realize exactly how out of touch he is. The other Republican (excuse me, I mean RINO) in the photo is Senator Arlen Specter.

McCain has missed the last 42 Senate votes in a row but yet he can find time for photo-ops with Kennedy.

And speaking about being �Out-of-Touch�, I recently read a poll that 2/3 of the American Public believes we should have border security first before any Immigration Bill.

That means about 200 million Americans where told shut-up because we know better by a group of arrogant elitist of 100 United States Senators. 200 million to 100 is not my idea of representing the will of the people.

And then you have Specter trying to double talk about the proposed bill by saying (paraphrase) that people should wait to see the bill before criticizing it. But yet the Senate intends to vote on it immediately before the document is released.

How stupid do they think we are? Do they not realize we know they are trying to ram it through before anyone can examine it?

Not let�s get down to what this Immigration Bill really is, it is about changing the demographics of the country to favor the Democrats and the Republicans are too stupidly blind to see what is happening. Assume that we are legalizing 12 to 15 million illegal immigrants and multiply that by 4 (average family of four) because they have a right to bring in their relatives. You are talking about a potential of 50 million new voters who the Democrats will bait and hook with promises of a great welfare state. Not only will the Republicans be relegated to a permanent minority status and so will white Christian Americans.

I no of no other way to put it, the Congress of the United States is giving this country away.

There is no question in my mind that with the Republicans like McCain and Specter by joining the Democrats in pushing this bill are dealing the GOP a death blow, its political suicide. They can slap each other on the back now but when election rolls around the GOP will be singing another tune.

The more I watch the Washington scene, the more I am convinced that these people are so far out-of-touch with reality and the American people that you have to wonder if they spent the last twenty years on the moon.
