No apology is acceptable from John “In Cold Blood” Murtha By the Bear

An “I’m Sorry” from Judge and Jury Congressman John Murtha just won’t cut it as far as I ‘m concerned nor do I think this lowlife is about to issue any apology for the fabrication he concocted about the Marines in Haditha killing innocent civilians “In Cold Blood.”
News Max reports that ….. New evidence continues to emerge that U.S. Marines did not wantonly kill Iraqi civilians in Haditha last November - and the soldiers’ accounts of what happened are backed up by videotape shot by an ultralight vehicle.
It would take a man of moral character to say “I’m Sorry” for pain he has inflicted upon these Marines and their families who at this time are being held in the Marine brig in San Diego. And we can not discount the harm he has done to military’s morale factor nor his many comments that the Unites States can not win Iraq. Surely these comments will cause an enemy to fight on which will contribute the needless deaths of others.
Morality and character are not common traits found in people of Murtha’s ilk. How does a man live with himself knowing full well he has caused deaths and ruined people’s lives for the sake of a political agenda?
I do not think Murtha has made a mistake or an error in judgment, nor do I think that Murtha ahs become unhinged, these are the well laid plans of an evil man who seeks higher office and who will callously destroy people lives to fulfill his ambitions.
Murtha was first elected to Congress in 1974 and has had a questionable congressional record during his term of service.
(CNSNews.com reports) - Members of the press have given extensive and glowing coverage to Rep. John Murtha’s criticism of the war in Iraq, but have overlooked a number of other controversies the Pennsylvania Democrat has experienced over the past 25 years. This includes his reported role as an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Abscam bribery scandal of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Murtha was “named as an unindicted co-conspirator and testified against two House colleagues.”
Just hours after the July 1981 House Ethic Committee vote sparing Murtha from charges, E. Barrett Prettyman, Jr., special counsel for the panel’s Abscam investigation, abruptly resigned. At the time, Prettyman refused to discuss with the press his reasons for stepping down.

And The American Spectator reports…..
John Murtha’s brother — a Washington lobbyist whose firm reeled in more than $20 million for its defense contractor clients in the 2004 Defense appropriations bill. And the Pennsylvania congressman is the ranking Democrat on the Defense appropriations subcommittee, which he also chaired for six years before Democrats lost the House in 1994.

These questions and the reckless conduct shown by John Murtha suggest a man who seeks higher office should not hold any office.

Prosecute The New York Times and censure Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.)? I have a better idea: Sit back and watch them self-destruct.
Murtha and The New York Times have done more to aid the fight for Republicans to retain their House and Senate majorities in the last couple of days than Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman could possibly do all year.
But no one, not even the guys who are so devoted to the GOP that they wear elephants on their ties, should be cheering.
