Certainly there is nothing more heartbreaking than the pictures of the bodies of innocent victims of war being removed from the rubble of a building, especially when many of them are children, as was the case this weekend in Qana, Lebanon.
For those of us who are members of a civilized society with tears in our eyes can only wonder “why” such brutality exist for surely there must be another way.

Professionalization of war is ghettoization of war
American, British and European education these last 30 years is now one of the biggest obstacles to civilizational self-preservation. A nation that psychologically outsources war to a small career soldiery risks losing its ability even to grasp concepts like “the enemy”: The professionalization of war is also the ghettoization of war. As John Podhoretz wondered in the New York Post the other day: “What if liberal democracies have now evolved to a point where they can no longer wage war effectively because they have achieved a level of humanitarian concern for others that dwarfs any really cold-eyed pursuit of their own national interests?”

The images, obtained exclusively by the Sunday Herald Sun, show Hezbollah using high-density residential areas as launch pads for rockets and heavy-calibre weapons.
Dressed in civilian clothing so they can quickly disappear, the militants carrying automatic assault rifles and ride in on trucks mounted with cannon.
“WHY”
The only explanation for my question as to “WHY” is there are those in this world who do not fall into the category of civilized. Terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah have rolled back decent war standards a thousand years to the age of savagery and barbarians. We are now confronted with the reality of civilized people at war with uncivilized people.
My question of “WHY” can also be expanded to “Why where these people here?” knowing that this was a war zone. The IDF has estimated that a 150 rockets have been fired from Qana at Israel, surely common sense dictates that there would be a response.
This is the translation of Israel’s leaflets dropped by air in an effort to minimize casualties of innocent people even at the loss of surprise retaliation.
To all citizens south of the Litani River
Due to the terror activities being carried out against the State of Israel from within your villages and homes, the IDF is forced to respond immediately against these activities, even within your villages. For your safety! We call upon you to evacuate your villages and move north of the Litani River.
I suggest that the events in Qana are not all that they seem. It is not beyond comprehension that Hezbollah prevented the innocent from leaving and this was inhumane murder staged as part of a PR war for the civilized Western media.
There are no limits to what the terrorists will do, the question now becomes will Western Civilization recognize this reality?
Update: IDF: Qana building fell hours after strike

VIDEO - An IDF investigation has found that the building in Qana struck by the Air Force fell around eight hours after being hit by the IDF.
“The attack on the structure in the Qana village took place between midnight and one in the morning. The gap between the timing of the collapse of the building and the time of the strike on it is unclear,” Brigadier General Amir Eshel, Head of the Air Force Headquarters told journalists at the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv, following the incidents at Qana.

Using innocents as tools of war
Embedded in Islamist ideology is the idea of using innocents as tools of war. It is their most effective weapon.
The idea that killing innocents – children, non-combatants—is moral and desired by God is embedded in the Quran. Islam has elaborate legalistic discussions about killing, but it grew out of a culture of desert warfare, where raiding, raping, and killing innocents was celebrated and glorified. Mohammad was a desert raider who committed genocide more than once. That easy acceptance of what the civilized world calls murder still pervades Muslim cultures today.
If Hezbollah survives the current IDF assault, which tries and tries to avoid civilian deaths, it will have shown that Western militaries are still baffled and stumped by heavily armed combatants who hide behind children.

The North Korean commies used civilians as shields and the MSM back then blasted the U. S. forces when the fired on the so called civilians. The press never changes, maybe we should change the laws so we could try the reporters for treason and shoot them, one a day.
