You can’t fool all the people all the time.

New polls are showing that the American people are not buying into the Democratic onslaught of ‘Bush Lied’ and other criticism of the administration’s war policies. (See poll link below Sympathetic Vibrations)

• 70% of people surveyed said that criticism of the war by Democratic senators hurts troop morale — with 44 percent saying morale is hurt “a lot,” according to a poll taken by RT Strategies. Even self-identified Democrats agree: 55 percent believe criticism hurts morale, while 21 percent say it helps morale.
• A plurality, 49 percent, believe that troops should come home only when the Iraqi government can provide for its own security, while 16 percent support immediate withdrawal, regardless of the circumstances.

Again, the American public has determined that “The White Flag Party of Retreat” shows that they can not be trusted with our National Security/Defense.

In recent weeks most Democrats seem to have concluded that the war effort is a sinking ship, the American people have already jumped overboard, and if Democratic politicians follow them off the side, the people will reward them by putting them in charge of the life rafts. The Washington Post notes some poll results that suggest the Dems are all wet. —Opinion Journal

And from a Pew Research Center Poll

The general public is considerably more optimistic about Iraq than just about any group of “opinion leaders.” Respondents were asked if they thought efforts to establish a successful democracy there will succeed or fail.

• General Public 56% to 37% say the U. S. will succeed
• News Media 33% to 63% says the U.S. will succeed
• Academia 27% to 71% says the U.S. will succeed
• Military 64% to 32% says the U.S. will succeed

No surprise here, maybe Uncle Teddy between drinks and his leftoids friends should look at the polls.
